In 2009, Verena graduated in Hospitality Management and did her internships in Naples, Florida and then at Hollow on the Square in Cape Town. She started her first management position at a 4-star guest house in the northern suburbs, Cape Town, then went to work on cruise ships to travel and see the world. Returning back home, she worked at Chakela Hotels & Resorts as a reservation’s consultant for 2 years. “Soon after that, I met Joanne and I was sold! Proactive was in my veins. “
Verena started as a reservation’s consultant at Proactive Hospitality Solutions in 2016, from the garage days, then quickly climbed the ranks to reservations manager. She has extensive experience in operations and booking systems and understands the challenges that properties face daily. She proved that if you put the time and work in, in partnership with clients, everyone achieves success.
The goal was to grow the company and her goal was to grow with it. Today, Verena is our Director of Client Services and we have never been prouder of her role in Proactive Hospitality Solutions and her dedication to our clients. Over the years Verena has developed a strong emphasis on customer acquisition and retention through quality service.
